I am Avelino de Sa from Panjim Goa. I was born with cerebral palsy which is a disability due to brain damage. I am 75% disabled. I completed my graduation in commerce and started mutual fund business on a part time basis 20 years back. I started full time basis 5 years back along with elder brother Carl de Sa.

Our firm name is Star Investments. Our total mutual fund AUM is 82 crores as of today. We are in Reliance MF CEO elite club and UTI MF star club for the last 2 years. We focus on religious institutions and HNIs. We have over 200 clients.

I am also founder President of Disability Rights Association of Goa which is working for the last 14 years to bring persons with disability into the mainstream society. I am also recipient of ADAPT National Award for Activism in 2015
